As Director AJC Paris, Simone Rodan-Benzaquen interacts regularly with government officials, civil society leaders, journalists and policy analysts and works closely with the leadership of the French Jewish community to combat anti- Semitism, promote understanding of the Middle East, and promote dialogue among ethnic and religious groups. Before Simone was named Director of AJC Paris, she served as an adviser to the Ambassador for Human Rights in the French Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs. She was the founding General Secretary of the Brussels and Paris-based Medbridge Strategy Center, which seeks to strengthen ties between political and civil Society leaders, and Vice President and Co-Founder of SOS Darfur.

Simone holds a law degree from King’s College, a M.SC in Media and communications from the London School of Economics and a secondary Masters from Sciences Po Paris.

AJC Cincinnati will honor Michael D. Connelly, President & CEO, Mercy Health, with the 2015 AJC National Human Relations Award, Monday, May 11, at the Hilton Cincinnati Netherland Plaza. Join Us

Mr. Connelly will receive the prestigious 2015 National Human Relations Award from American Jewish Committee’s Cincinnati Region for his outstanding professional achievements, community leadership, and dedication to excellence.

David Nash, M.D., MBA, Founding Dean, Dr. Raymond C. and Doris N. Grandon Professor of Health Policy Jefferson School of Population Health, Philadelphia, PA, will be the keynote speaker. Dr. Nash’s address is entitled “What is a Healthcare Mensch?”

Dinner co-chairs are Beth Guttman, President, The Jewish Foundation of Cincinnati; Gary Heiman, President and CEO, Standard Textile; David L. Joyce, President and CEO, GE Aviation; and Don Wayne, MD, Cardiologist, Mercy Health.
